“ROGERS ROAST”TM their first private label and signature coffee is freshly roasted daily a pound at a time.  Once roasted the coffee is sent out to the consumer as soon as possible.  This process allows the  consumer to experience the FRESHNESS of hand roasted coffee beans.

Organically grown coffee beans from Bolivia are used in roasting their signature coffee.  Their South American suppliers participate in Fair Trade, thus empowering farming families in Bolivia, to experience  better living conditions.

A principle to live by….......
ROGERS, believes in the principle of reaching out to all people by loving and accepting each person as a special and unique human being created by God.

By demonstrating the gift of serving we can reach out and touch many lives around us. This can be accomplished within the marketplace.  We believe in going above and beyond in meeting the needs of our valuable customer.

“Touch someone’s life today, by offering them a cup of kindness.  It really goes a long way.”

During our military travels, Bernard and I have met so many wonderful people from all across the country.  Interesting people, places, foods and languages were always presented before us, to experience.  Every place we were stationed, gave us the wonderful opportunity to experience a different culture.  It was always rewarding when we were given a raw opportunity to meet people from that particular land, especially in Europe.

From this experience, we have gleaned from their cultures, and have come to appreciate the diversity in each human being.  I personally like to describe the land, culture and people as a "BEAUTIFUL SONG", offering a melody for all to enjoy.

Originating from Hawaii, I have an even greater appreciation and acceptance of all the many diverse people groups.  Hawaii is full of  people from all across the lands.  It's amazing to see and it's an incredible "Song" to hear.  The people of Hawaii are known for their "Aloha Spirit".  Whenever I go back to my homeland to visit,  I can hear a 'Song" being played from the heart of the land.  The warmth of the sunshine and the warmth of the people, makes me want to stay in this place of paradise, forever!  One day, Bernard and I will return to my home and harmonize with the Island Song.

Presently, we are singing our song in Abingdon, Maryland at Constant Friendship Shopping Center.  Our Coffee & Tea shop motto, "Where Constant Friendships Connect" speaks to the heart of the people to gather together over a cup of coffee or tea, and connect in some way.  Every Connection releases a brand new song in our Coffee & Tea Shop.  Its a joyful sound and a pleasant experience and I plan to sing about my connections, as well.

Now, you know a little about Bernard and I and how we love and appreciate every human being!  No matter where you are from or what 'SONG" you are singing, we want you to know that you are special and unique and we are passionate about serving YOU!

ALOHA!

KE AKUA PU (MAY GOD SURROUND YOU)
I received a 'Cup of Kindness' one day.  Since then, my life has never been the same!                                       R.R.

My first cup of  latte was from a little street coffee/espresso cart in Germany.  It was a cold chilly day.  What a wonderful experience!
